Thai Language

The Thai language is a member of the Ka-tai language group and is closely related to the languages spoken in Myanmar, Laos, N-Vietnam. Thai is written in an alphabet which is adapted from the Kmher alphabet.

Four major dialects are spoken in Thailand, Central Thai or Bangkok Thai is taught at all schools and used in most TV broadcasting and it is widely understood in most parts of Thailand
