Battersea Power Station
Battersea Power station one of the many iconic buildings in London. Used on the Pink Floyd Album cover 'Animals'. Work has started to develop this grade 2 listed art deco building and surrounding area into luxury flats and shops.
This coal-fired power station dating from 1933 was decommissioned in 1983. In the foreground the Railway line going to Victoria station with the 3 sheds of the train depot can be seen.
